Overview

Claude Yard is a native terminal manager for AI coding agents. It supports Claude Code and Codex out of the box. Here’s what it does.

The app is divided into three areas.

Tool rail — buttons to spawn Claude Code, Codex, or shell sessions, plus browser panels.

Terminal area — tabbed panels. Each tab is an independent process. Drag to split or rearrange.

Session sidebar — full history of every Claude session, grouped by project. Dots indicate status.

Run multiple agent sessions at once — Claude Code, Codex, or both — each working independently.
